Oh hi. Thanks for dropping by. What can we help you with? Design, animation, visual effects… we've got you covered. Let's start with a few questions.
Do you know what you have in mind? Something type driven? Light driven? 3D? 2D? High Key? Low Key? No Key? No idea what any of that means? That's fine. Just describe your vision as best you can. You can use hand gestures, sounds, and the word "thingy" as many times as you'd like.
Either way, we bet we know what you're after. You want something that looks cool. Right? We get that a lot. So why don't you take a load off, browse around for a while, and see what we're all about. Can we get you anything? Coffee? We have one of those Keurig machines so it's no trouble.
Every design starts off as a mystery. We'll be the Sherlock Holmes to your Watson, by which we mean we'll put on an awesome hat, smoke a pipe, and help you find what you're looking for. We'll look beyond the usual suspects and the red herrings, and effectively discover that it was Colonel Mustard in the study with After Effects! Okay, this metaphor is getting away from us.
What we're trying to say is no matter how we begin, by the time we've done some sleuthing (and some designing), you'll look at the end result and shout, "See? I knew that would look good!" It's a process that we love.
And, fear not, we can work within any specifications you bring to the table -- logo violations, style guides, brand bibles… We think of them as "clues." Hey look, we found our way back to the mystery metaphor again. Wouldya look at that?
You have a brilliant design. There's only one problem: it's not moving. You need someone to work some magic and make it dance. But dancing is a careful art and you can't hand your precious design over to just anyone. After all, what Elaine Benes does could technically be called dancing, but you'd hardly want your animation looking like a full body dry heave set to music.
No, there are things to consider: subtleties in timing, the nuance in the way things move, and the story that movement tells.
We know all about this stuff and we'll make sure your design has the moves like Jagger. Great, now we have that song stuck in our heads.
How many times has this happened to you: You've just wrapped production and it's time to get to work cutting together your masterpiece. Then suddenly, someone important calls and asks if they can make a few changes. “Lose the co-host, replace him with a centaur, and move the whole thing from Times Square to the Puget Sound.” But… but…
Hearing "just fix it in post" needn't make you cringe. Our visual effects skills can save the day. Oh, and they work great when used on purpose too. Get what you want from your green screen shoot with compositing, rotoscoping, virtual set design, you name it. Hearing "the future is now!" may also make you cringe. But it's true.
